Our Apostolic Beliefs
The foundation of our faith and fellowship at Greater Apostolic Faith Temple Church is built upon the core doctrines of Apostolic Christianity, expressed with clarity and purpose.
The Oneness of God
We believe in one God, eternally existent, who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This foundational truth shapes our worship and understanding of salvation.
The Authority of Scripture
The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and our ultimate authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living. We are committed to teaching its truths.
Salvation Through Jesus Christ
We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, expressed through repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The Church as Community
The Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service. We are a spiritual family, supporting one another in our walk with God.
Holy & Victorious Living
Believers are called to live a life separated from sin and dedicated to God. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can live victoriously, bearing the fruit of the Spirit in our daily lives.
The Blessed Hope
We anticipate the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment. This hope motivates our mission and provides comfort.
How Our Beliefs Guide Our Community
These doctrines are not just statements; they are the living principles that shape our worship, our outreach, and our care for one another. They create a foundation for authentic spiritual growth and meaningful fellowship here in San Diego.
